Our Mission:

To Inspire
& Empower

We are a non-profit organization founded and headquartered in the state of Georgia. We unite the community by improving the lives, well-being, and opportunities for advancement for young men in Atlanta and Chicago.

Trey's Mentors

What is Trey’s House?

Trey’s House is a place for young men to gather, learn, grow, meet positive role models, and make a difference in their communities.

Founded in honor of Treamel Gray, a Chicagoan, son, dad, flyest dresser, best friend, and the motivation to help men of color succeed in life!

We work hard and we play hard, but we always get the job done. We inspire youth to be the best, make good decisions, and excel in life.

Trey's Vision

Our Vision

By 2021, to develop an ecosystem of support for 1,000 young men through education, wealth building, mentorship, coaching, and philanthropy. We strive to establish a community of leaders.

Our team is working diligently to meet our 3-year goal of helping and impacting the lives of at least 1,000 youth over 1,000 days. Help us help one inner city youth per day by donating your time and/or resources.

For the fatherless, we provide male role models. For those who need access to resources, we find and provide community-based solutions.

Our Model

At Trey’s House, we focus on building a concrete foundation for our youth. We employ the TREY Model (Thriving Futures, Recreational Support, Empowerment, and Youth Awareness) as the basis for our operations and outreach.

It is our mission to provide more exposure to Atlanta and Chicago area youth who may lack access to resources. Six Flags, check. Disney World, check. World of Coca-Cola, check. We are raising funds to take our participants places they’ve never even dreamt of going.

10+

SCHOLARSHIP GOAL

Our team is working to raise at least $5,000 in 2019 to provide 10 young men scholarships of $500 to the college of their choice through the Trey’s House Scholarship Fund.

40K

REVENUE TARGET

We are working to raise $40,000 in capital to provide our participants with opportunities and resources they need to succeed. Trips to museums, college tours, recreational fun like Six Flags, and resources like textbooks and school supplies.

25+

COLLEGE BOUND PARTICIPANTS

During our 1st year of operations, we are striving to ensure at least 25 young men get accepted into a college-level or trade school program in both the Atlanta and Chicagoland areas. By the end of year 3, we are working to ensure at least 100 of our participants enroll in a college level program.

Our Services

At Trey’s House, we support young men by providing them a place to learn, grow, and achieve. Our non-profit was founded in honor of Treamel Gray who suffered due to gun violence in Chicago. In his honor, we created Trey’s House to give young men a chance to thrive and excel in their respective communities.

mentoring | COACHING

Our mentoring and coaching services are led by our Vice-President and Director of Mentoring, Mr. Gregory Johnson, a former 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher and Teacher of the Year recipient. We provide young men with lifelong lessons to position them for success and to enable them to become productive citizens.

after-school support

When school is out, we are in. If you need homework help or simply some place to go, we are here. Our team will coach and guide you. Get off the streets and come join a team that cares about your success and well-being. We also provide snacks and an outlet for our youth to thrive and feel validated, appreciated, and cared for.

social events | field trips | college tours

We give our participants exposure in ways they’d never imagine. Not only do we have fun and ensure we provide a fulfilling time for our participants, we also ensure they see what’s possible by visiting area colleges, museums, theme parks, hosting skating parties, and more.

professional development

Our team helps with interview preparation and professional development to give you an advantage when applying for jobs or when searching for a new career path. We show you how to embody our core values of respect, empowerment, service excellence, and determination. Position yourself for success!

FROM THE OFFICE OF OUR PRESIDENT

Often times, our youth fall victim to other vices such as their environment, bad influences, and societal pressures. A bird can’t fly in a cage.
